job summary:
Industry leading organization is searching for a promotable (groomed for advancement opportunities) Structural Engineer in the Duluth, MN area. This opportunity provides a chance to work in a family and team environment that provides opportunities for growth and advancement.
This roles comes with a very good salary commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $100k to $150k plus a bonus that can range from 15% to 30% based upon company performance along with excellent benefits, matching 401k plan and pension. Relocation assistance is also available.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
- Manage structural steel engineering projects from cost estimates, materials specifications, calculations, design of structures, facilities and equipment of installation and start up
- Ensure contract work is documented properly with specifications and work scopes, coordinate within operational needs and completed safely
- Direct and coordinate work performed by engineering consultants and contractors
- Direct and coordinate work performed by operating employees as required for new equipment installation or testing to ensure conformity to engineering design and specifications
- Provide structural steel assessments expertise to management, engineeers, and mechanical crafts people on as needed basis
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering
- Previous knowledge of project management and creation of work scopes
- Project engineering experience
- Cost analysis, budgeting and quality management systems
- AutoCAD experience
